You deserve therapy that feels human.

I’m Jillian Furey, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Hayden Collective Health Counseling. I became a therapist because I was tired of seeing therapy feel sterile and one-sided. My goal is simple: to create a space where you can show up fully and know you’ll be met with honesty, curiosity, and care.

What working with me feels like

You’ll have a partner, not a guru. I’ll listen closely, ask questions, and we’ll figure out what works together. If something isn’t helping after a few months, we’ll talk about it and try something different. You’ll never have to guess whether you’re “doing therapy right.”

My background (and why it matters for you)

I’ve worked in harm reduction with sex workers, helped resettle refugee families, supported people living with HIV, and spent years in inpatient settings alongside folks with complex trauma. What that means for you: I won’t be shocked by your story, I won’t minimize your pain, and I won’t treat you like a diagnosis. I’ll meet you as a whole person who deserves care and respect.

A space made for real life

Come as you are, whether you’re breastfeeding in sweatpants, juggling dishes during a telehealth call, or showing up with tears and laughter in the same hour. Here, you get to be fully yourself, and we’ll work side by side to reduce the weight you’re carrying.
